Nestled high above Jackson Hole in
the mountains of the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Togwotee Mountain
Lodge has earned its reputation as the World’s Premier Snowmobile Resort
for winter vacations. In the summer, it's known as a full service guest
resort. The commitment to service and the friendliness of the staff
combine with the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere to make sure that your
experience at Togwotee Mountain Lodge is unmatched.
In the language of the Mountain Crow Indians, "Togwotee" meant
"from here you can go anywhere". The Togwotee Mountain Lodge
keeps that meaning alive with the variety of year-round activities it
offers and its close proximity to the attractions of Jackson Hole, and
Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
Togwotee Mountain Lodge is located
in the spectacular country around Togwotee Pass - on the eastern rim of
Jackson Hole. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are at the back
door, and of course the town of Jackson is a scenic one hour drive.
Togwotee welcomes guests with year-round western adventure. It's a
full-service mountain resort catering to individuals and families who want
to enjoy the beauty, take advantage of the numerous activities, or just
sit in the shade and relax.
The full-service lodge offers a beautiful dining room, the newly expanded
Red Fox saloon, and 35 modern guest rooms. The lodge interior is finished
in white pine trim, giving it a warm, western feel.
The lodge rooms are on the
second floor of the main lodge. Each has two queen beds, a full bath and
color cable television. Our lodge suites on the third floor have a queen
bed, a full-size sofa sleeper, and bunk beds for the crew! The suites also
include a micro-fridge combo.
The cabins have two queen
beds in the master bedroom and a full size sofa sleeper in the living
room. Two color cable televisions, one in the front and one in the
bedroom, will keep everybody happy. They also include a dining area with
fully furnished kitchenette, and a full bath. Each cabin has a BBQ grill
on the porch. The cabins are within an easy walk of each other, nestled
among the piney woods.
Amenities: After a busy, activity-filled day, soak in one of the
hot tubs, relax with a book on the porch, cook out underneath the trees or
stars, grab a drink from the Red Fox Saloon, or have a hearty meal at the
Grizzly Steakhouse, open for 3 meals a day. |
