Your
Ideal Mountain Getaway, the Inn On The Beartooth is a newly built
log lodge located at the base of the Beartooth Mountains. The Beartooth
Scenic Highway was described by the late Charles Kurault as "the most
beautiful drive in America." This 69 mile route to the Northeast
entrance of Yellowstone National Park affords travelers unparalleled
mountain scenery on their way to the nation's first national parks. Our
proximity to this vast wilderness setting makes the lodge uniquely
inviting.
The Inn offers rustic charm with all the modern conveniences. Each room
is tastefully decorated with hand-crafted lodgepole pine furniture, cozy
comforters and private baths. Our elegant honeymoon suite features a large
sitting room and generous master bath with a two person jacuzzi tub. The
king bed in the loft overlooks the mountain to the East. Your private deck
entrance allows you access to the deck where two outdoor hot tubs are
located. Our family suite features two queen beds adjoining room with two
twins.
The
two story great room is a very welcoming place to share the days
adventures with new found friends. Our wood-burning stone fireplace
provides guests with a warm atmosphere on chilly nights. At an elevation
of 5,800 feet, even the summer can warrant a fire! A soak in the outdoor
hot tub under the stars after a hard day of traveling and recreation will
be a welcoming relief. Morning greets you with the smell of coffee
brewing, sizzling bacon and fresh cooked delights. We serve a wonderful
country style breakfast each morning at a time that suits your schedule.
Red Lodge is the Old West. With much of the downtown on the
National Historic Register, you can experience the past today. These
historic treasures are now home to a variety of shops, galleries and
restaurants. From gourmet to family style, your dining options are
plentiful.
The
Inn is located two miles south of Red Lodge, 69 miles to Yellowstone
National Park, 60 miles from Cody, WY and 67 miles from Billings, MT.
